We are pleased to announce that our nine products listed below have been approved to be “(I) Factories and Business Establishments-type” Advanced Equipment and Systems eligible for subsidies under the energy-saving investment promotion and demand structure transformation support projects in the FY2023 supplementary budget. Among them, “CleanArc” is expected to be a system that contributes to power system stabilization and productivity improvement of high-power electric furnace steelmaking facilities.
　With the aim of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, the subsidies are intended to provide focused support for advanced technologies, expected to have high energy-saving potential, that the Agency for Natural Resources and Energy finds from the market. Businesses can receive subsidies by meeting certain energy-saving requirements when installing the approved equipment.
　We will contribute to the realization of a decarbonized society by making our energy-saving technologies widely available to our customers through this program.
