The Latest Technology of the Heavy Plate Leveler
A new heavy plate leveller which had the rigidity infinity function called the fourth generation was developed. The bend of the roll caused by compression and the length expansion of the column bend, are measured, are calculated, and this leveller is corrected with the oil pressure cylinder promptly and dynamically. As a result, the following were achieved.
- Expansion of range of correction: 20mm-37mm in case of X80(YS600MPa)
- Smoothness of high level: 1/4 of standard values
- Decrease of residual stress: 1/3 of residual stresses of leveller in the pastNo. 2012-07

Trend of dust collecting facilities of OG system
Because the dust that consists of FeO and Fe2O3 is contained in LD gas exhausted from the bof voluminously, the collection dust efficiency improvement and the improvement of the ambient surrounding are requested from the collection dust equipment of the OG system. In this paper, a recent ..damp.. trend of wet type dust collector in the OG system is described compared with the old model.

Advanced technology and application of large-scale CDQ
After it operates, the former maintains both high utilization rates of 95% to large-scale CDQ of 200t/h and 185t/h that our company constructed with the calendar day base though the latter has passed 15 years for 22 years. The boiler is maintained in these CDQ, and moreover, it accompanies, they are made to generate electricity, and the utilized capacity for power generation also maintains 95%. It introduces the factor and the equipment technology to achieve these high utilization rates and availability.

Maximizing Sintering Plant Heat Recovery
There is WHRS that collects the rejection heat generated when the baked high temperature sintering ore is cooled in CDQ and the sintering equipment to collect the rejection heat generated when scorching coke is cooled in TRT and the coking furnace using the blast furnace top pressure and the temperature of exhaust gas by steam/electric power by steam/electric power in the blast furnace as a waste heat recovery technology of exhaust gas in the pig iron making process. This paper introduces the waste heat recovery technology of the sintering equipment and the effect.
