JP Steel Plantech Co., the steelmaking plant engineering manufacturer (head office in Yokohama-shi, Kanagawa; President and Representative Director: Keiji Wakahara), will give a presentation at METEC 2023 (the International Metallurgical Trade Fair with Congresses*) to be held on June 14, 2023 in Düsseldorf, Germany.

The presentation will outline the technology of the super hybrid leveler/slitter line, which we have developed for high-performance metal plates/sheets.

This line is a composite facility that has both tension lever and roller leveler functions. The line manufactures high-strength, high-precision steel plates/sheets with high flatness, such as ultra-high-strength steel for automobiles, which has recently been seeing increasing demand. Commercial operation of the line started in 2020 in Japan and operation is now stable.

We hope that advertising our proven technology to the world at large will further improve our presence.
